Modern Slavery & Anti‑Slavery Policy

1. Policy statement
Elsi Design Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in any form — including forced labour, human trafficking, debt bondage and child labour — whether within our own operations or in our supply chain. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all persons working for or with us in any capacity, including employees, directors, agency workers, contractors, consultants and business partners.
3. Due diligence
We carry out due diligence on new suppliers before entering into contracts, and review existing suppliers periodically. Our supplier onboarding process includes self-declaration of compliance with applicable labour laws and our code of conduct. We reserve the right to audit suppliers and to terminate relationships where material non-compliance is identified.
4. Our people
All Elsi employees are engaged on terms compliant with UK employment law. We pay at least the National Living Wage and carry out right-to-work checks before employment commences. We provide a confidential means for employees to raise concerns, and will not retaliate against anyone who does so in good faith.
5. Training
Relevant staff receive training on recognising and responding to the signs of modern slavery. We update this training when guidance changes or following any incident that warrants review.
6. Reporting
Anyone with concerns about modern slavery within our operations or supply chain should report them to a director at info@elsi.dev. Reports can also be made to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 0800 0121 700.
7. Review
This policy is reviewed annually and approved by the Board of Directors. Our Modern Slavery Act transparency statement is published on request.
