Quality Control Policy

1. Policy statement
Elsi Design Ltd is committed to delivering products and services that consistently meet the requirements of our clients, warranty providers and the building regulations applicable in England and Wales. Quality is embedded in our design, manufacturing and site supervision processes — not applied as an afterthought.
2. Design quality
All structural designs are produced in accordance with Eurocode 5 (BS EN 1995) and checked independently before manufacturing drawings are issued. Every project receives a complete engineering package including calculations, layouts, connection details and erection sequences.
3. Manufacturing quality
Panels are produced under a documented factory production control process. Timber grading, moisture content and panel dimensional tolerances are checked at intake and at key stages of fabrication. Non-conforming materials are quarantined and removed from the production stream. A build record is retained for every panel leaving the factory.
4. Site quality
Our erection teams operate to a documented installation protocol. Airtightness testing is carried out at first-fix stage on all projects where a performance warranty is required. Any remedial works are completed before the next trade is permitted to proceed.
5. Review
This policy is reviewed annually. Our quality objectives and performance against them are available to clients and warranty bodies on request.
